So... I went away for a rather long time.  Got sucked into life - had no desire to do much outside of it.  Having special people come into your life will do that to you.  Mine was in the form of a perfect, happy, wonderful, amazing daughter. I'm still waiting for the photography bug to hit again.  Hopefully it doesn't stay away as long.  Mayhaps it will be soon in returning.  Until then, I guess this is what I have for now.  This writing thing.  C'est la vie.  Subsiting on words is not terribly nutritious but it is what I have. Spent a week away from the blazing heat of the summer desert sun.  It was beyond words amazing.  It was nearly long enough to make me forget what hot really was.  Of course, upon my return, I was clearly reminded. Posted some of the better pictures that I took.  We all passed around the best camera and got some very nice shots of Yellowstone. There were bison galore.  Quite a number of elk.  NO BEARS!  I was COMPLETELY disappointed by this.  I guess one can't have everything, especially in lieu of what happened up there the week before.  I was told they were keeping them away from where people would be.  I guess that is a good thing.  Bear

... that I have been very remiss in putting up artistic things I have been doing.  Alas, I have to admit that they are quite right.  *hangs head in shame* I believe that my vast array of music has been sufficiently caught up and I can turn my attention to other things. My scanner is very much defunct.  I have buried it on my desk under a mountain of things.  A fitting end for it, I say. However, it is no excuse, as my camera is working quite well.  I have, indeed, been taking pictures.  I will attempt to be less of a procrastinator.  It is a difficult task, but I have every confidence that I can reform for a short time - long enough to add
